Eagle Rays and a Hawksbill Turtle

Today, we snorkeled Yawzi Point, one of my favorite reefs on St. John.  Along the way, we encountered two eagle rays and one hawksbill, none of which, by the way, were reading The Dinosaur Hunter.

So...  have you read it yet?  I hope you have.  Your favorite writer needs your support.  You know, publishers get touchy on publishing authors who don't sell.

Anyway, you'll like The Dinosaur Hunter, I swan.

Commercial over.  Here are the critters!

Interviews with Homer Hickam on The Dinosaur Hunter

Here's two interviews about my new novel The Dinosaur Hunter which is selling like, well, Cretaceous Dinosaur hotcakes (that's a good thing).

Thanks to all the folks who have gone out and gotten their copy of "Dino" and all those who will!

It's nice when my readers go past Rocket Boys/October Sky and discover, hey, I like Homer's latest work, too!

Go here for a great interview from NPR.

And here for a prodigious interview by "Big J" in Billings, Montana which is very near the country I write about in The Dinosaur Hunter.

For all the on-line sites where The Dinosaur Hunter can be found, go here.  Note that autographed copies are also available.  Think Christmas and the Holidays now for that reader in your family who likes mysteries or westerns or dinosaurs or just a good read.

And for you Kindle readers, I really appreciate your support.  The Dinosaur Hunter was an instant best-seller amongst Kindle users.  For your copy, go here.

And don't forget our "Get Caught Reading The Dinosaur Hunter" contest. We've extended the contest deadline until Dec. 5 because the book was slow to get into bookstores and then sold out, meaning another restock!  Go here to find out how to enter and all the great prizes to be given.  We have no entries in the "most readers reading..." part of the contest and no entries in the video part.  So you may win with just a little imagination in those two areas and the others, too!

Got caught reading, even the fish!

Homer Hickam, Book Clubs, and The Dinosaur Hunter

For new readers, please go here to learn more about The Dinosaur Hunter and the "Get Caught Reading The Dinosaur Hunter Contest."  You'll also see our latest newsletter.

Or here for my official website.

Thank you!

One of the very cool things that can happen to a book is when it is chosen by a book club. Book clubs are groups of readers who gather together to discuss a chosen book. Many of my books are often picked and sometimes I get to Skype or have a phoner with the group.  Great fun!

The Dinosaur Hunter may be a popular choice for book clubs, too.  I hope so!  We've just put up our discussion questions for book clubs and information on how to contact us and set up a Skype/Phoner session.

Go here and have fun with the book!

Here's a fun new entry in our "Get Caught Reading The Dinosaur Hunter" contest!

They look worried! Wonder what chapter they're on?
